Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Compensation: $230 per day/$28.75 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Hamilton, NJ. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting day-to-day clinical operations, and maintaining a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and takes pride in their work while providing compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and/or active CMA certification (as required by state)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Phlebotomy certification (if required by state)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to travel between clinic locations if needed
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience (Primary Care, Family Medicine, Occupational Health, or Urgent Care)
• Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
• Willingness to complete CAOHC and Drug Testing Collection certifications
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with Veterans, Service Members, or Federal Employees
• Proficiency in EKGs, PFTs, ABIs, venipuncture, and lab processing
• Current Audio and Drug Testing Collection certifications
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
• Perform vital signs, blood draws, and diagnostic testing
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures
Cleanliness & Infection Control
• Maintain exam rooms, waiting areas, and restrooms to the highest standards
• Disinfect surfaces, replace exam table paper, and ensure all equipment is clean and ready for use
Punctuality & Reliability
• Arrive on time, adhere to the assigned schedule, and remain on-site during working hours
• Demonstrate consistency and dependability in daily responsibilities
Administrative Support
• Schedule appointments, manage data entry, and assist with EMR documentation
• Support reporting and general office workflows
Compliance
• Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and quality assurance guidelines
Professionalism
• Maintain a professional appearance and interact respectfully with patients, staff, and leadership
Additional Duties
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support clinic operations
