Position Overview
The Medical Assistant serves as a key link between patients and providers, supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role combines clinical and administrative responsibilities to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.
Position Details
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (1st shift)
Department: Physician Clinics
Travel: None required
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities
Obtain and accurately document vital signs and patient information
Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures
Perform phlebotomy and collect, label, and process specimens
Maintain exam rooms and ensure efficient patient flow
Communicate effectively with patients in person and via telephone
Support laboratory recordkeeping and routine safety checks
Provide patient education with compassion and professionalism
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training: Medical Assistant training (CMA/RMA preferred) or equivalent experience
Experience: Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required

Employment Requirements
