Media Planning Intern

We are seeking a curious Media Planning Intern to join our dynamic team in Milan. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a core media planning unit, collaborating on campaigns for our most important clients. You will acquire comprehensive knowledge of media planning, from strategic development and campaign management to performance analysis, while actively contributing to projects that deliver measurable client success.

Activities

• Provide essential support in the planning phase, including gathering market intelligence, researching audience insights, and assisting with media channel selection based on campaign objectives.

• Actively support the team in monitoring campaign performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, and contributing to post-campaign analysis to derive actionable insights.

• Prepare comprehensive quantitative and qualitative reports, and assist in interpreting data trends to inform strategic adjustments.

• Collaborate closely with Communication Planners, supporting in-depth campaign analysis and contributing to the formulation of data-driven recommendations for future media strategies.

About You

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (or equivalent cultural background/academic pursuit), preferably in Economics, Marketing and Communication, or Foreign Languages, with an anticipated graduation date within [e.g., 1 year].

• A data-driven mindset and genuine curiosity for understanding market dynamics and consumer behavior through data, with an eagerness to learn how to translate findings into strategic recommendations.

• Genuine interest for media and advertising.

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English, as you will actively engage with international clients and campaigns. Fluency in Italian is also required.

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

• Any knowledge of media research tools (e.g., audience measurement platforms, competitive intelligence software) or ad-serving platforms will be considered a significant plus.

• Highly proactive and organized, with an emerging ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and contribute effectively to various project streams under guidance.
