Position Summary: As a key member of the SMT Marketing team, the Media Manager (based in Malaysia) will support the Director of Media, Digital and Data in developing and executing integrated B2B and B2C media strategies across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This role will be instrumental in driving brand growth, campaign performance, and media innovation across the region. The Media Manager will also contribute to the expansion of Visa’s Media Advisory and Execution capabilities within our Marketing Consulting Practice, supporting client engagements that help Issuers, Merchants, Acquirers, and Fintechs achieve their marketing and business goals. This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Commercial Solutions, and Sales, as well as external agency and platform partners. The ideal candidate is digitally fluent, analytically sharp, and experienced in managing media campaigns across multiple channels and markets. Key Responsibilities of a Media Manager at Visa: Lead development and deployment of media strategy for all key initiatives and track adherence in tactical media plans. Evaluation of marketing initiatives and campaigns against agreed business and brand objectives; maximize return of investment from marketing activities through the optimization of marketing budget allocation by market, by activity and by media channel in partnership with Media Director. Establish KPI metrics to be used to evaluate ongoing campaign performance in collaboration with Regional Measurement teams Subject matter expert across all channels of media discipline – programmatic, search, social, mobile, connected TV- towards more effectively targeting and messaging end customers using data. Lead and support our “Value Added Services” by delivering best-in-class media thinking to our end clients to support them with digital acquisition, spend and activation campaign. Working closely with the Media director to increase our 1P audience data and engagement with audiences across key social platformed through more powerful, cut-through media innovations Develop and share best practice media platforms and programs at scale with other in-country market leads Manage and guide day-to-day relationships with agency partners with inspiration, thoughtfulness and mutual respect Provide strategic rigour & media/channel innovation to the planning & implementation of creative ideas This role will require working in a highly collaborative manner, across internal stakeholders and external partners. Influence over SMT media budget including contract negotiation and fee oversight with agencies Why this is important to Visa This role ensures subject matter expertise across a continuously changing industry for Visa and our clients and will be responsible in delivering solutions to address these changes.

This individual should possess substantial experience in media, social, and digital channels, skilled in ideating, pitching, and selling new, innovation ideas to executive leadership and clients. 8+ years’ experience in media, digital, or marketing roles (agency or in-house). Hands-on with media platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Marketing Platform products (DV360, etc), Meta, TikTok and The Trade Desk Proven track record in managing multi-market campaigns and budgets, built and executed end-to-end media programs with an emphasis on performance campaigns in markets in Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand; Includes ongoing optimisation, evaluation and reporting Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experienced in ad operations, media reporting processes, and QA, including implementation of media platform pixels, IAS, and UTMs Understand the ad technology ecosystem and concepts such as ad serving, bidding platforms, ad fraud and viewability, DSPs and SSPs Solid project management skills to successfully manage projects to budget and time, often with short deadlines Strong budget management experience including forecasting and meeting revenue targets Experience with Account Based Marketing and guiding creative agencies to create modular and dynamic creative is preferred.
