Our TV Marketing team is on a mission to provide value through negotiating, executing, and optimizing multi-media campaigns globally to consistently drive users to our platforms in an efficient way. As an Intern in Media Buying, you'll be at the heart of making the trivago brand known and loved worldwide. You'll support the team in planning and monitoring TV and multi-media campaigns across different markets, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic world of media buying while working alongside experienced professionals who are passionate about driving impact through strategic advertising.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Get an in-depth understanding of trivago’s TV media buying processes end to end

• Monitor trivago’s TV campaigns daily and get insights on what actions need to be taken to maximize the impact of the campaigns

• Analyze the campaign performance and support with implementing optimizations on a constant basis to improve our topline performance

• Prioritize and re-prioritize tasks based on a fast-changing environment to create maximum value for the company

What you'll need to thrive:

• Analytical skills for data interpretation. Excel skills preferred

• Eagerness to support negotiations with external stakeholders and arrive at the best possible conditions

• Ability to learn fast and adapt to changing environments and constantly optimize campaigns

• Competency in building collaborative relationships internally and externally

• Willingness to travel

• Proficiency in English (our company language)

• Availability for a full-time, 6 month internship and a valid work visa for Germany

What you'll learn:

• How to negotiate with external counterparts to attain the best possible conditions for trivago’s TV Campaigns

• How to forecast TV spend across the year for different markets
