We are seeking experienced Medication Technicians who bring a strong background in assisted living or healthcare and are passionate about making a meaningful difference every day.
What You Will Do as a Medication Technician
Provide compassionate, respectful personal care, assistance, and companionship to residents
Safely administer medications in accordance with South Carolina regulations and community policies
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ physical condition, behavior, or care needs
Support and update Resident Care Plans based on observed changes and team collaboration
Encourage and assist residents in participating in community programs and daily activities
Work closely with nursing, leadership, and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Play a vital role in maintaining resident safety, dignity, and quality of life
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare strongly preferred
Current South Carolina Medication Technician certification required
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Demonstrated understanding of medication administration and resident care protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced healthcare environment
Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility
