• To do work as planned & scheduled with a better professional approach and to report the findings in the required format.
• To communicate/execute/report the inspection works to the expectations of customers and to the extent of SGS Quality Management System.
• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical parts, components, and systems to verify compliance with approved ITP, specifications, standards, and quality requirements
• Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test reports
• Perform “Hold” ’Witness “and "Surveillance” Inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations
• Assist in performing Quality Audits on certain projects
• Collaborate with vendors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical quality control
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control processes and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and vendors as needed
• To ensure that the inspection reports are submitted without any delay.
• To work safely during inspection activities and to advise others to work safely.
• To maintain the confidentiality requirements in each activity during the service period.
• Ensure the best quality of execution.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Should have valid AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 certifications.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience for Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience for Diploma degree in quality control and vendor inspection, preferably in the oil and gas industry
• Candidates having worked in pressure vessel fabrication company will suit
• Required to have valid Aramco SAP No. and QM approvals(QM 03, 06, 07)
• Should have valid Driving license
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, quality control processes, and inspection techniques
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical equipment
• Proficiency in quality control software and tools
