We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment used in road infrastructure projects.

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment used in road maintenance
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues in vehicles, heavy machinery, and other road maintenance equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and longevity of mechanical systems
• Calibrate and adjust mechanical components and equipment to meet performance specifications
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance using computer-aided maintenance management systems (CMMS)
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex mechanical issues
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all duties
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operators
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in road maintenance and mechanical systems

• Associate's degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably in road maintenance or a similar field
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and manuals
• Familiarity with heavy machinery and vehicles used in road maintenance
• Understanding of road infrastructure and maintenance practices
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards for road maintenance in Qatar
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
