We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Technician to support the ElectroMechanical Workshop of the European Space Agency (ESA) at their ESTEC site in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. The ESA/ESTEC ElectroMechanical Workshop provides highquality manufacturing, prototyping, and technical support to ESA engineering teams, laboratories, and test facilities. The purpose of this service is to contribute to the machining, assembly, inspection, and handling of mechanical components for space engineering activities. Please be aware that this position requires full on-site support.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at the interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
• Perform precision machining using CNC and conventional equipment;
• Support prototyping and manufacturing of mechanical parts according to drawings and specifications;
• Conduct mechanical assembly, fitting, and adjustments;
• Execute inspection and dimensional verification using metrology equipment;
• Collaborate with engineers and colleagues to identify manufacturability issues;
• Ensure documentation, traceability, and proper handling of components;
• Operate within ESA and ATG safety, cleanliness, and quality procedures;
• Support maintenance of workshop machines and equipment;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workshop processes.
