The Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Organization, a division of Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer to join the E-7 Mechanical Systems Team in Tukwila, WA.
The E-7 program is the future Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) program to support the United States Air Force (USAF) with two rapid prototype aircraft. The Mechanical Systems team encompasses Environmental Control Systems, Fuel (Aerial Refueling), Oxygen & Hydraulics and Propulsion. This position is to primarily support Fuels, but opportunity exists to expand into the larger Mechanical Systems team.
Position Responsibilities:
• Support the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid system, and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
• Perform and document analyses to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Contribute to supplier development, test, and production activities, providing direction to suppliers to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
• Support system component design/proposal standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
• Train others on relevant processes and technical content.
• Work under general direction.
This position will be 100% onsite in Tukwila, WA
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)
• 2+ years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance
• Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
• Familiarity with FAA and Military Certification
• Project Management Experience

Summary Pay Range: $90,950-$123,050
