Mechanical Process Engineer VS9

Responsible to implement, maintain and improve the manufacturing process, ensure technical availability of equipment in charge on all shifts. Fulfill and maintain Value Stream KPI’s: IDC,FOR, Technical Down time among others.

New product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation, installation and maintain it on a production environment. Develop process instructions and material to train technicians, document maintenance process instructions: Autonomous, preventive, predictive and corrective.

 

EDUCATION:

• Minimum education level: Bachelor Degree, depend of the process specific (Eng. Mechatronic,  Electromechanical)

BEHAVIOR:

• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Statical analysis knowledge (minitab)
• Ability to work effectively in cross functional, and multifunctional teams in a global environment (work with international and multi-cultural teams).
• Excellent communication skills: Internal and external.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND SKILLS:

• Mechanical Process Engineer
• Responsible to define, implement, maintain and improve the mechanical assembly processes required for product manufacturing, including but not limited to PLC & Controls, robotics, mechanical design and assembly analysis, keep the process under control according to process parameters and customer specifications.
• Responsible for fixtures, tools, and molds: Design, manufacture, acceptance validation,release and implementation of production processes.
• Responsible of the definition of process parameters according to DMD, VVT, DI, etc.
• Responsible to validate NPI establishing process parameters, mechanical dimensions and production release.
• Responsible to define, create and train technicians on process under responsibility,machine configuration and process parameters.
• Some processes associate with a mechanical engineer: PCB Singulation, Presses, screwing stations, Ovens

SKILLS:

• Advanced English
• Experience (1-2 years) as mechanical process or maintenance areas.
• PLC programming is a plus: Allen Bradley, Siemens, micrologix.
• Knowledge in pneumatic ,hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Design CAD: Solid works, or other mechanical design SW.
• Design electromechanical systems for automation or control of manufacturing equipment
