Job Description

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from a manufacturing background looking to make a difference in a forward thinking business engaged in company-wide Continuous Improvement? This is also an opportunity to stand out, especially if you are looking for career development/progression. My client is a long-standing family-owned heavy manufacturing business based in the Barnsley area. The business understands its people are the key to its success and are building a first class team.

This is an opportunity to make real improvements in maintenance as well as being involved in an extensive CAPEX programme to improve the facility.
THE PERSON• Proven Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Heavy Manufacturing background e.g. furnaces, cranes, hydraulics, grinding etc

• Proven at problem solving e.g. SIX SIGMA & 8D

• Pirana CMMS experience beneficial.

The shift pattern for this role is based on a 6-2, 2-10. An excellent remuneration package is offered to include a starting salary of circa £40k (£35k + shift premium) + overtime.
