Mechanical Engineer with Sales Background for Mining Industry

Uptalent is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer with a strong Sales Background to join a leading company which provides Bearings and Power transmission products may help optimize all phases of the mining process – extraction, transportation, processing, smelting, and refining mining.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients in the mining industry, while also demonstrating a strong ability to drive orders and expand business relationships. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the Arequipa mining industry
• Provide technical support and solve technical issues for customers
• Conduct on-site visits and consultations with clients to identify their needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Create and deliver technical presentations and proposals
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products and services
• Meet sales targets and report sales performance regularly
• Keep up-to-date on industry trends and technologies

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in Sales and Technical Support
• Strong knowledge of the mining industry is required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time, and have a valid driver's license.
• Fluent or Intermediate English
