Centrillion Biosciences is seeking a full time Mechanical Engineer – Manufacturing Research & Development. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, fabrication and/or procurement and integration of mechanical and fluidic system components
- Equipment & instrument support: troubleshooting, repair, upgrading and testing instruments, components and systems; equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers in other disciplines evaluating component and overall system performance.
- Documentation of work, analysis of data and reporting/presenting results
- M.S. degree in Mechanical engineering
- minimum 5 yrs industry experience microelectronics or medical device manufacturing
- Extensive knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical tools & equipment, automation & systems integration.
- Experience in photolithography and microfluidics a plus.
- Experience with CAD, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Linux.
- Shop tool and equipment use/experience.
- Creative, energetic, goal-oriented
- able to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Hands-on attitude and innovative approach to problem solving.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- She/he will be required to develop additional competencies, and apply practical skills and knowledge to solving a variety of applied technical problems.
