About Your Future Job
As a Mechanical Engineer – Change Requests you are part of our Changes-team, dealing with the processing of Change Requests (CR’s). The Changes-team is part of the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (MEE) department, where the hardware for our systems is developed. 

Our equipment is operational for many years and the systems need to be kept up-to-date. Changes can originate from several sources; from production, service, new/added functionalities (upgrades), obsolescence etc. When the need for a change has been identified and approved, it enters the Changes-team where the TPD will be updated. CAD models, CAD structures, drawings, schematics, BOM’s, etc. will be revised. Work is executed in close co-operation with stake-holders, like Mechanical Engineers/Architects, Electrical Engineers/Architects, 3D-cabling Engineers, Procured Parts Engineers, etc. Data in our PLM system needs to be updated as well. CR’s follow a strict process incl. formal reviews and releases. Adequate documenting is therefore key. The workload is handled by the Changes Co-ordinator, who distributes the task within the CR-team, assists in executing the changes, follows up on progress, etc.

Your main tasks are:

• Work with PTC Creo (3D modelling and 2D drafting) and PTC Windchill

• Work structured and precise

• Responsible for executing the tasks as received by the Change Co-ordinator, in a correct way, following the process, in time. Model structures should be according Thales way-of-working. TPD and related documentation should be updated. Change histories should be properly archived.

• Coordinate regularly with stakeholders, especially on technical details regarding the change.

• Coordinate regularly with the Change Coordinator, regarding solving of issues and progress of work
