Mechanical Design Engineer

Description
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company operating in the heavy vehicle industry. With more than 20 years of experience, the company specializes in the design, development, and production of custom truck bodies and engineering solutions for both local and international markets.
They collaborate closely with leading global manufacturers and are known for delivering tailored, high-quality technical solutions.

About the role
We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s growing engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technical design, enjoys working on real-life engineering products, and wants to contribute to unique, custom-built projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze production requirements and client needs, providing insights and technical input
• Prepare technical drawings and specifications (CAD)
• Design and develop new products and improve existing solutions
• Initiate and support production processes with engineering recommendations
• Analyze completed projects, identify issues, and propose improvements
• Collaborate closely with the production team to optimize designs and manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to analyze production processes and technical drawings
• Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or similar)
• Interest in heavy vehicles / mechanical engineering solutions
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• 3–4 years of experience is considered an advantage

Compensation
