Job Description

Role and Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain integrated CAD Automation of new and existing standard
products and accessories.
2. CAD automation shall deliver drawings and data to meet the need of customers and
Manufacturing, considering global requirements.
3. Conduct value analysis and design validation of standard products, collaborating with
other departments as necessary.
4. Build automated CAD processes to deliver, digitally, customer and manufacturing
drawings and data for cost effective standard configurable fans and accessories.
5. Document design definition and validation for any new or re-evaluated standard
designs.
a. Document design intent/rules used in CAD automation of a fan design.
b. Maintain revision/version control of all current CAD automation.
6. Conduct continuous improvement of current illogic driven models.
7. Maintain a Product Development Road map for assigned Products.
8. Provide Effective Solutions:
a. Quality: Maintain a continuous improvement process that reduces input and
increases automation/robustness of the Functional System.
b. Cost: Create cost effective automation (Available, Reliable Maintainable) of
value engineered designs.
c. Delivery: Maintain a schedule of monthly deliverables (Agile approach).
d. Safety: Ensure Automation does not compromise Safety.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Proven 3 years' experience in Automation design
- Proficiency in coding/programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar languages)
- Experience with Inventor iLogic is a plus
- Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturable drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
