About Elysian
At Elysian Aircraft, we're not just building a company; we're crafting a vision for the future of aviation. With the sky as our canvas, we see endless possibilities on our journey. Supported by industry leaders and global organizations, our mission to create the aircraft of the future is already taking flight. We are building a team of passionate, creative, and ambitious individuals to help redefine the way the world flies.
Role mission
Support the development and integration of electro-mechanical subsystems in the electric powertrain domain.
Design and integrate Mechanical subsystem and component of the high voltage electrical systems
Reduce integration churn by keeping interfaces clear and changes controlled.
Support prototypes build and test with clean, usable evidence.
What you’ll do
Support requirements capture and verification planning for assigned components.
Produce and maintain CAD/installation artefacts, design justification and interface documentation
Handles mechanical subsystem design tasks (mechanical / CAD part of power electronics and electrical products, Busbar Definitions, routing, mounts, enclosures, sensor integration)
Will handle high-voltage and high current constraints.
Help prepare prototypes: assembly support, instrumentation, and basic commissioning tasks.
Support test execution and data processing; document results and lessons learned.
Track issues and actions from design reviews and test campaigns; keep evidence organized.
Work with electrical, Battery and structures engineers to resolve design issues, interface clashes and integration constraints, optimize the designs.
Support supplier interactions (data requests, documentation checks, follow-ups).
Traits for Success
MSc in Mechatronics / Mechanical or similar.
Experience in CAD design environment (CATIA)
0–3 years’ experience (or internships) in product development or hardware integration.
Basic understanding of mechanical design and electrical integration constraints (clearances, routing, serviceability).
Ability to produce clear interface documentation and keep changes controlled.
Comfortable with hands-on prototype work and safe workshop/lab practices.
Basic analysis skills (tolerances, simple loads, thermal awareness) and willingness to learn deeper methods.
Ability to turn ambiguous inputs into a clear next step and ask for review early.
Clear technical communication in short notes and drawings.
Nice-to-have
Experience with high-voltage systems integration (awareness level).
Experience with harness routing constraints and installation design.
Familiarity with simple FMEA thinking.
Rapid prototyping mindset
