Mechanical Assembler (Overnight Shift)

Activate Games is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are looking to expand our manufacturing team with the addition of a Mechanical Assembler. The position of Mechanical Assembler involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a commitment to growth through rapid prototyping. A successful applicant will be expected to autonomously complete production tasks from part picking to completing assemblies. Due to a constantly changing production cycle, training will be provided as new tasks are available to learn. This is a permanent, full-time position. Overnight shifts start from 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and are eligible for a shift premium.   

The Duties and Responsibilities:

Use various hand and power tools to complete game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides;

Update component assembly guides as changes occur;

Prepare small-batch wiring harness orders for concept prototyping;

Provide support during quality control testing when needed;

Provide support during local prototype installations when needed;

Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization;

Maintain workspace inventory levels based on weekly checks;

Other tasks and duties as assigned;

The Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-years of experience in an assembly production setting is required

Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required

Access to reliable transportation is required

Experience with power tools is required
