Mechanical Assembler (Afternoon Shift)

Activate Games is a tech company known for creating Canada’s first full-scale interactive gaming facility. We are looking to expand our manufacturing team with the addition of a Mechanical Assembler. The position of Mechanical Assembler involves working in a dynamic manufacturing environment with a commitment to growth through rapid prototyping. A successful applicant will be expected to autonomously complete production tasks from part picking to completing assemblies. Due to a constantly changing production cycle, training will be provided as new tasks are available to learn. This is a permanent, full-time position. Afternoon shifts start from 3:00pm-11:00pm.   

The Duties and Responsibilities:

Use various hand and power tools to complete game component assemblies based on part drawings and assembly guides

Update component assembly guides as changes occur

Prepare small-batch wiring harness orders for concept prototyping

Provide support during quality control testing when needed

Provide support during local prototype installations when needed

Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization

Maintain workspace inventory levels based on weekly checks

Other tasks and duties as assigned

The Qualifications:

A minimum of 3-years of experience in an assembly production setting is required

Experience with power tools is required

Valid Class 5 driver’s license is required

Access to reliable transportation is required
