**Minimum Qualifications: ** High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar mechanical role focused on diesel trucks. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, fuel systems, and hydraulics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools. Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy vehicles as required. Preferred Qualifications: Certification from a recognized institution such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in diesel mechanics. Experience working with commercial diesel trucks in a fleet environment. Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment and software. Additional training or certification in hydraulics or fuel system repair. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, braking systems, and fuel systems to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
