Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for a talented and commercially-minded Measurement Consultant to join our team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) models for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with our agency teams and directly with clients, providing key insights to optimize marketing strategies and maximize ROI.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong grasp of business models and economics, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to describe complex mathematical concept to different audiences, demonstrating a consulting approach to address client needs.
Key Responsibilities
• MMM Model Development and Implementation:
• Design, build and scale robust MMMs using sales data, media delivery data, and external factors.
• Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from data ingestion to final client presentation.
• Utilize advanced statistical software and techniques for data analysis.
• Streamline data workflows to enable efficient modelling, and design strong data visualisations for client presentations.
• Analysis and Interpretation of Results:
• Analyze MMM outputs to identify true business performance drivers and media optimization opportunities.
• Translate complex statistical findings into clear, compelling narratives and actionable insights for clients.
• Collaboration with Agency Teams and Clients:
• Partner with account, strategic planning, and media teams across WPP Media agencies to align MMM objectives with overarching client goals.
• Present model results and strategic recommendations to clients in a clear, persuasive and non-technical manner.
• Provide training and ongoing support to agency teams on how to leverage measurement outputs for strategy and media planning.
• Research and Development:
• Stay up-to-date rapidly evolving measurement landscape and contribute to the development of new methodologies to improve our modeling capabilities.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Marketing Mix Models, conducting advanced marketing analytics, or working in a highly quantitative data consulting role.
• Familiarity with statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or SPSS is considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Bayesian statistical modelling, time series analysis, and regression. Experience with modern open-source MMM libraries (e.g., Google Meridian, Meta's Robyn, PyMC) is highly desirable and considered a major plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. A "big picture" thinker who doesn't hesitate to dive into the granular data details.
• Self-motivated, highly energetic, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Strong client and results orientation.
• Strong knowledge of English, written and spoken
