MDM Architect (Outside IR35)

About the role:

Billigence is supporting a large-scale MDM transformation programme within a complex, multi-entity organisation operating across multiple regions.

We are looking for an experienced MDM Architect to define and lead the implementation of a centralised Master Data Management framework, addressing fragmented systems, inconsistent data definitions, and lack of ownership.

This role is critical in establishing a single source of truth across key domains such as customer, supplier, and property data.

What you’ll do:

Define and design the MDM architecture and target state

Select and implement an appropriate MDM platform/tooling

Design data models, hierarchies, and golden record structures

Define matching, merging, and survivorship rules

Establish integration patterns between source systems and MDM

Work closely with business and technical teams to align on data definitions

Support rollout of governance and data quality frameworks

Provide architectural leadership across global teams

What you’ll need:

Proven experience delivering end-to-end MDM implementations

Strong knowledge of MDM tools (e.g. Informatica MDM, Reltio, Profisee)

Deep understanding of:

Golden record design

Matching & survivorship logic

Data hierarchies and relationships

Strong data modelling and architecture capability

Experience working in complex, federated data environments

Ability to work across business and technical stakeholders
