MDM and ETL Developer

Responsibilities

• Design & Develop MDM solutions using Informatica MDM and Informatica Data Director in Customer, Contact & Product domain.

• Design & Develop Data Integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter & suite of products.

• Develop a strong understanding of business processes for functions such as Sales, Finance, and Marketing in order to be able to better support the MDM needs.

• Participate in design of MDM and Data warehouse data model.

• Translate the functional requirements to high level design and build technical specifications document.

• Provide operation and production support for the applications developed.

• Use structured and disciplined approaches to solving technical problems.

• Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of MDM & ETL solutions, work with Business Analyst to ensure the solution is adopted and fully leveraged for decision making.

• Collaborate and work with cross functional IT teams.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in MDM and ETL developer role with strong hands on experience in developing MDM & ETL objects.

• Implementation experience of Informatica MDM, Informatica Data Director and PowerCenter.

• Technical knowledge in implementation of embedding Data Quality into MDM.

• Experience or understanding Informatica MDM Services Integration Framework (SIF)

• Strong understanding of relational databases with hands on experience in SQL programming.

• Solid understanding of MDM and Data Warehouse methodology, dimensional modeling

• Prior experience of implementing MDM and ETL solutions in one or multiple areas such as Sales/Finance/Marketing/HR.

• Experience participating in Agile /Waterfall scrum sessions.

• Ability to quickly translate requirements to prototype and get business buy- in.

• Passionate about solving business problems, Innovative, creative and an outside-the-box mindset.

• Excellent Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

• Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
