MDM - Analyst

Metro Global Solution Center (MGSC) is internal solution partner for METRO, a €31 Billion international wholesaler with operations in more than 30 countries. The store network comprises a total of 623 stores in 21 countries, of which 522 offer out-of-store delivery (OOS), and 94 dedicated depots. In 12 countries, METRO runs only the delivery business by its delivery companies (Food Service Distribution, FSD). 

 

HoReCa and Traders are core customer groups of METRO. The HoReCa section includes hotels, restaurants, catering companies as well as bars, cafés and canteen operators. The Traders section includes small grocery stores and kiosks. The majority of all customer groups are small and medium-sized enterprises as well as sole traders. METRO helps them manage their business challenges more effectively. 

 

MGSC, location wise is present in Pune (India), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Szczecin (Poland). We provide HR, Finance, IT & Business operations support to 31 countries, speak 24+ languages and process over 18,000 transactions a day. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Master Data Management Analyst with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience to join our team in the wholesale industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the integrity of our master data, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, and supporting business operations with accurate and timely data.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Master Data Management. Oversee the complete lifecycle of master data, including creation and maintenance.

- Create and modify supplier records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Maintain product information, including item descriptions, pricing, and specifications.

- Update and manage customer records, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.

- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Data Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure all master data entries are accurate and completed within the designated timeframes.

- Utilize SAP and Oracle ERP platforms for master data management tasks.

- Ensure Data Quality consistently for the tasks delivered.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor of Commerce or relevant qualification.

- 2 to 3 years of experience in master data management, preferably within the wholesale industry.

- Hands-on experience with SAP and Oracle ERP platforms is essential.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

- Ability to work proactively and independently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
