Mathematics Foundation Program Instructor (Full-Time)
2026–2027 Academic Year
Position requires relocation to Kuwait; only candidates unaccompanied by dependents are eligible.
American International University (AIU) in Kuwait is seeking a passionate and student-focused Mathematics Instructor to join our Foundation Program for the 2026–2027 academic year. This full-time role is ideal for educators who want to make an impact abroad, help shape foundational learning, and thrive in a diverse, international academic environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide in-person instruction to AIU Foundation Program students
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for assigned preparatory math courses
Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades
Collaborate with course coordinators to ensure curriculum objectives are met
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver well-planned, creative, and engaging lessons
Use varied instructional methods appropriate to subject and topic
Assist in course development and creation of high-quality teaching materials
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Maintain accurate records and assessment results in accordance with AIU policies
Handle high-volume and fast-paced teaching responsibilities effectively
Use and regularly update course management systems
Support departmental assessment efforts and strategic planning initiatives
Meet all deadlines and fulfill teaching-related duties such as office hours and meetings
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field
Experience designing curriculum aligned to accreditation standards
Proficiency in instructional technologies to enhance classroom delivery
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Eligibility to meet faculty credentialing standards set by Kuwait’s Private Universities Council (PUC)
