Material Procurement & Production Planner

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture push belt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering solutions from product engineering, tool development & automation as well as testing & validation solutions (Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, push belt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

• Material procurement planning & supplier interface 

  1.1/ Timely update demand forecast & simulate short term and long-term procurement planning. Coordinate with end users to forecast consumable to maintain sufficient stocks for their activities.

  1.2/ Weekly/ Daily stock check and issue purchase orders with consideration of Re-order point & other factors.

  1.3/ Weekly/ Daily track delivery date from suppliers to early detect risk of shortage of materials.

  1.4/ Work w/ purchasing department & end-users to find solutions in case any risk happened leading to shortage of materials.

  1.5/ Work w/ Quality, Warehouse & others to react to quality issues pop-up.
• Customer interface & demand planning

2.1/ Timely communicate w/ IPN and RBUs to understand customer demand & drive HcP production

2.2/ Provide delivery proposals to IPN/ RBUs in consideration of customer demand & capacity

2.3/ Understand customer demand changes/ behaviors/ trend and compare w/ capacity to have a good assembly planning and have escalation in case shortage

2.4/ Able to detect/ recognize part numbers are critical to have clear message to production teams to fulfil delivery request
• Production-Planning for Assembly Production

3.1/ Able to have good assembly planning w/ consideration of pre-process capacity. In case shortage, able to give proposals to cover the loss or shortage capacity.

3.2/ Able to work w/ QMM, MSEx and reworking for blocked parts w/ clear expectation to them

3.3/ Daily cooperation with MSEx/QMM/TEF-team for quick reaction on problem solving, changeovers, planning-changes, material-issues
• Inventory management

4.1/ BP/CF/Monthly/Weekly inventory forecast

4.2/ Actively seeking to chances to optimize Finish Good inventory e.g. advance delivery, release block stock, have good production plan

4.3/ Definition of Min-/Max-Inventories and responsible for the inventory
• Drive BPS-activities & Improvement 

5.1/ Join as project members for SAP/Pro & Con planning, S4 HANA, others

5.2/ Able to review & optimize planning files including auto planning, visualization, consolidated files

5.3/ Self contributes to CIP + Suggestion Scheme
• Project management

6.1/ Lead projects assigned & able to propose approach.

6.2/ Join related assigned training to enhance project management skills
• Ad-hoc coordination tasks/ reports

7.1/ Willing to take coordination tasks/ report w/ muti-range of difficult levels.

• University Degree (Bachelor/Master), Industrial management or Supply chain related field preferable
• 3-5 years in LOG planning-functions
• Experience in Problem-Solving, Project management, Improvement Activities
• English - Business fluency
• Good at Data Analysis Skill (MS Office, VBA, Macros, Power Query/Pivot/BI, etc.); SAP knowledge
• Willingness to work under pressure
• Open to new topics, willing to learn
• Good communication/ collaboration w/ internal and external departs
