About the position
A Raw Material Planner in Flora is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted availability of raw materials to support production, while adapting to fluctuating demand and operational changes. The role is primarily executed in SAP, where the planner manages material parameters, monitors stock levels, processes MRP signals, and converts purchasing and stock requirements into executable actions.
The position involves close day‑to‑day collaboration with suppliers to align delivery schedules, manage lead times, resolve supply issues, and respond to short‑term variability. In parallel, the planner coordinates internal logistics, including raw material movements, warehouse capacity, and production staging, ensuring material readiness at the right time and location.
The Raw Material Planner works cross‑functionally with procurement, production planning, logistics, and quality teams to maintain system accuracy, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply risks. A strong focus is placed on SAP data quality, exception management, and continuous alignment between system settings and real operational constraints.
You will:
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Factories, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, T&I, Warehouse, Finance) and external suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within material planning.
• Develop and maintain supply plans for raw materials according to factory requirements.
• Manage daily call-offs with suppliers and coordinate delivery schedules with factories.
• Coordinate daily transport activities with the Logistics Team.
• Act as the main point of contact for day-to-day operational material issues.
• Ensure appropriate stock levels and prevent material shortages.
• Oversee obsoletes management, including organizing returns and improving related processes.
• Verify contract positions and ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate data in SAP and IBP systems for planning purposes.
So what does it take to be successful in this role?
You have a university degree in logistics, economics, or a related field, and at least two year of experience in supply chain or logistics. You are experienced with SAP, with SAP S/4HANA experience considered a strong advantage. You are fluent in English. You possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with a high attention to detail and the capacity to work effectively under time pressure. You are a team player with excellent computer skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an additional advantage.
