Material Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying materials used in construction, manufacturing, or production processes for forging, plate mill, line pipe, casting.

Degree Civil Construction Engineering 5 - 10 years experience in material inspection. Competencies Attention to detail Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret technical documents Proficiency with inspection tools and testing equipment Strong communication and reporting skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Responsabilities Conduct visual and physical inspections of incoming materials. Verify material certifications and documentation. Perform tests using measuring instruments and lab equipment. Identify and report non-conforming materials. Maintain detailed inspection records and reports. Recommend corrective actions for material-related issues. Health & Safety, Quality & Enviroment Adopt safe behavior at all times, exercising due regard for the health and safety of SGS. employees, in accordance with SGS policies and procedures. Comply at all times with SGS's Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct. Work in accordance with ISO standards and requirements (9001, 14001 e 45001). Report all hazards, near misses and incidents. Always wear relevant PPE and comply with health and safety regulations. Participate in monthly safety talk with team members. Optimize resources in order to protect the environment.
