Job Description
We’re looking for a precise Material Control Specialist to keep our materials moving safely and punctually. You’ll manage material handling and order fulfillment end‑to‑end, uphold cGMP and safety standards, and partner closely with planners and quality to resolve issues fast. If you’re organized and confident in a regulated environment, this role is for you.
Please NOTE: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. There may be minimum overtime and after-hours on-call support required.
What you’ll do
• Material operations: Raw material sampling in a down‑flow booth; handle sample and retain programs; prepare bulk drug substance for shipment.
• Data and systems: Use Raman, enter/review data in LIMS, and update SAP; drive accuracy and traceability.
• Quality leadership: Lead deviations, change controls, and CAPA activities; ensure compliance with cGMP, Safety, Health & Environment, and Sarbanes‑Oxley procedures.
• Delivery focus: Implement standard processes to deliver product on time and in full; identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Cross‑functional teamwork: Join regular meetings with planners and partners; align on raw material receipt issues; provide after‑hours on‑call support when needed.
• Cross‑training: Support selected warehouse tasks/systems and other material management functions.
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma
• 2-5 years material control/handling experience
• 2-5 years cGMP experience
Desirable:
• Drivers license
• D.O.T. certification
• Forklift certification
• Ability to prioritize work requirements, must be well organized and able to manage time efficiently, and must have a strong sense of responsibility
• Microsoft Office
• SAP

The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $65,153.60 - 97,730.40 ($31.32-$46.99 hr.) Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
