We currently have an opening for a Materials Adminsitrator in our Troy, Ohio location. The hours are 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
Scanning and filing inventory/receipts into the system and maintaining accurate records.
Works with Accounts Payable to resolve issues regarding invoices on hold due to receipt issues.
Assists the Inventory Control Manager in maintaining inventories of raw materials according to company and customer standards.
Performs cycle counts, transfers, and sets up trailer locators.
Compares audit information with the inventory computer system and adjusts variances as required.
Schedules incoming freight.
Maintains all computerized reports.
Follows all company-established safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School Degree required.
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing materials function.
Excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, and preferably Oracle.
Ability to plan and organize assignments.
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time, walk the manufacturing floor, including stairs, and occasionally perform duties that may require lifting up to 20 lbs.
