Title: Master Scheduler
Reports to: Materials Manager
Pay range: $63,000-$83,000/year
Location: Onsite, North Tonawanda, NY

In this role, you will coordinate production resource planning and schedules so that all products manufactured at API are done safely and meet production demands, shipping schedules, and quality standards while managing material, labor, and overhead costs to ensure profitability.
Key Accountabilities
Production Planning & Coordination
Work closely with the Production Supervisors to ensure production schedules are met.
Schedule the workflow through the departments to maximize our workforce and enhance time delivery.
Assist production supervisors in planning and scheduling programs to meet sales orders and required manpower and machine requirements.
Ensures that deviations to the production schedule are investigated and acted upon.
Constant shop floor review with the assembly supervisors to avoid possible bottlenecks.
Coordinate closely with scheduler/planner to understand capacity and throughput to maintain constant production flow while meeting fulfillment deadlines.
Ensure orders are completed as Workflows are designed.
Verify customer requirements.
Materials & Inventory Management
Works with Buyer/Planner to maintain optimum inventory levels, ensuring on-time shipments, while minimizing carrying costs and premium transportation charges.
Assist and support the physical inventory.
Effective communication on shipping delays by publishing daily reports to the scheduler and planner.
Safety & Compliance
Participate in Daily Supervisor meetings with safety being 1st priority in accordance with Armstrong behaviors. Review Plan, actuals, and identify blockages (Safety, Quality, Resources, Equipment, Material, Information).
Adhere to "Code of Business Conduct & Ethics".
General Responsibilities
Performs additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Education and Experience
High school diploma required. College degree preferred, ideally with a major in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in using ERP software, InforLN preferred
Ability to create and follow schedules.
Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices
