About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Master’s degree student with a strong background in aerospace to support our product development and certification activities. The successful candidate will contribute to technical documentation, development planning, and regulatory approval efforts for aerospace products.
This role provides hands-on exposure to real-world aerospace development and certification programs, including STC and PMA activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to product development and certification
Develop test plans, verification plans, and compliance documentation in accordance with applicable regulations
Perform engineering analyses and contribute to design and development activities
Execute tasks related to STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) development, including compliance demonstration and documentation preparation
Execute tasks related to PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) development, including substantiation and approval documentation
Coordinate technical inputs and documentation with airworthiness authorities and representatives (e.g., DAR)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace / Mechanical engineering (or closely related field)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Solid understanding of aerospace development and certification processes
Ability to adhere to all company policies for Health and Safety and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, staff and visitors.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
Experience with ANSYS (structural, thermal, or related analyses)
Experience in aerospace product development programs
Familiarity with STC and PMA projects
Experience interacting with airworthiness authorities and representatives (e.g., DAR)
Knowledge of certification processes involving FAA and/or TCCA
