Master Data Specialist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Master Data Specialist will be responsible for completeness, accuracy and timeliness of quality of data. REPORTING LINE Direct line to MDM Team Leader SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES With respect to master data such as Supplier, Customer and other critical information enabling finance activities: Inputting master data attributes into system as needed Management of data requests in support of business processes in a closed-loop process Extract data, analyze and ensuring the quality of the data. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent quality of data Comply, at all times, with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct PROFILE Analytical skills with high focus on the details Demonstrate proper attitude in relation to assigned responsibilities Confident, autonomous, determined and able to meet key deadlines Able to work independently Strong team player Good understanding of data structures and architecture REQUIRED SKILLS Good analytical skills Good MS Excel skills Competent computer skills including MS Office is an asset English with minimal good reading and speaking skills (B1/B2) Additional foreign language level B1/B2- would be an asset Oracle E-Business Suite R12 knowledge would be useful, but it is not essential (further training would be provided if necessary)
