Job Overview:

We are looking for a Master Data Specialist who will play a critical role in integrating master data with the NetSuite ERP environment. You will be responsible for onboarding and maintaining the fundamental master data set in NetSuite. This role will serve as the subject matter expert in managing data changes and contributing to continuous improvement activities around Master Data.

The role requires knowledge of co-manufacturing processes, an understanding of accurate data management, and strong attention to detail. Familiarity with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
This position will manage multiple simultaneous projects from inception through completion, all related to product master data.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the NetSuite Material Master data input including: Create and maintain Item master in NetSuite ERP system. Create and maintain material masters, bills of materials, and product master recipes for semi-finished and finished goods, where applicable.
• Champion and drive to maintain company ERP as the “single source of truth” to run the business
• Develop standards and guidelines to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise master data issues
• Lead cross-functional teams to gather required information from multiple areas of the business, reconcile conflicts
• 100% accuracy for the following: Material Masters, BOMs, Purchasing information records, Product Groups, and other related data
• Document and Implement SOPs for best practices for data integrity
• Take initiative to develop and propose new processes to strengthen data accuracy and enhance efficiency
• Serve as Super User for Master Data to educate users and problem solve exceptions
• Translate manufacturing requirements from functional areas into processes in NetSuite
• Ensure data is set up based on requirements of each production location including units of measure and conversion of units to alternate measures for purchasing and consumption in BOMs.
• Protect data integrity of products through adherence to system and procedural controls.
• Update material master data for raw, semi- and finished good materials in preparation of annual cost roll. Ensure data is accurately set to avoid costing errors in all plants where material has been extended.
• Daily communication with departments to ensure that all component and customer attributes have been populated into database

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5+ years previous job-related experience required, strong knowledge of ERP master data
• At least 2+ years functional NetSuite experience
• Proficient with both MAC & PC as well as Google and Microsoft Suite
• Accurate data entry skills, attention to detail and follow-up abilities
• Demonstrated methods to collect and analyze data and problem solve
• Must be highly disciplined, organized, self-starter with the ability to execute assignments independently in agile environment
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Responds strongly and positively to challenging work and deadlines
