This is Direct Hire Position with one of our Clients
Summary:
• The position is available in the Mass Spectrometry and Biophysical Characterization group in Analytical R&D.
• The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing methods of analysis for characterization of proteins, peptides, vaccines, carbohydrates, and oligonucleotides using advanced analytical techniques.
• The qualified colleague must have knowledge in protein biochemistry and/or protein analytics, and should have expertise in one or more protein characterization tools, including mass spectrometry, chromatographic separations, proteolytic mapping, electrophoresis, biophysical techniques, and glycan analysis.
• These techniques will be applied to a large platform of projects in all stages of development. Good communication and writing skills are essential due to the highly matrixed, fast-paced, project-team environment.
The qualifications include a minimum of a B.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field; industrial experience in analytical characterization is desirable.
