Job Description

Masonry Laborer

Powers & Sons Construction is hiring Masonry Laborers to support our commercial masonry crews in Indianapolis. This is a hands-on position for individuals looking to learn the trade or advance their masonry career.

Responsibilities:

Mix and prepare mortar, grout, and other materials

Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites

Set up and maintain scaffolding and work platforms

Assist masons with block, brick, and stone installation

Clean and prep work areas, including removing excess mortar and debris

Transport materials to masons throughout the day

Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE

Requirements:

Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions

Capable of lifting 50+ lbs regularly throughout the day

Reliable transportation to job sites in the Indianapolis area

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced masons

Basic hand tool knowledge preferred

Strong work ethic and punctuality

Preferred:

Previous construction or masonry experience

OSHA 10 certification

Valid driver's license
