Position: Specialized Classroom Aide, Monday - Friday
Location: Mason Early Childhood Center

Performance Responsibilities

Supports the student(s) in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks, guiding and helping, but not teaching.
Under supervision of the intervention specialist teacher, works with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
Performs clerical duties such as running copies, putting up bulletin board, preparing materials, etc.
Implements teacher-directed interventions to support pupil performance objectives.
Assists students where necessary in accomplishing self-help skills and gradually decrease support as appropriate.
Assists in documentation of pupil performance.
Assist in toileting needs, including diapering.

Minimum Job Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must be able to pass a BCI&I and FBI criminal background check
