Job Summary:

As the Marketing Manager (Social Lead), you will shape how a leading technology client cuts through culture—fueling relevance, buzz, and real brand impact. You’ll steer social direction, decode cultural signals into sharp strategy, and spark integrated campaigns built to travel fast where attention already lives.

Role:

Shape Social-First Brand Storytelling

• Define the role social plays in driving brand relevance, engagement, and audience connection.
• Build platform strategies, content ecosystems, and storytelling frameworks tailored to evolving consumer behaviour.
• Spot cultural trends, internet conversations, and emerging opportunities that can translate into impactful brand moments.
• Bring a “speed-to-culture” mindset to campaign thinking and execution.
• Use AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate creative ideation, trend discovery, and content scalability.

Lead Integrated Campaigns

• Develop social-first campaigns designed to spark conversation, participation, and shareability.
• Partner with creatives, strategists, media teams, and production partners to deliver integrated marketing initiatives.
• Drive creator, influencer, and community-led storytelling strategies across multiple platforms.
• Guide content direction to ensure ideas feel native to the platform and authentic to the audience.
• Build campaigns that balance brand storytelling with real-time cultural relevance.

Drive Performance & Innovation

• Collaborate with media teams to align creative thinking with paid amplification and distribution strategy.
• Use audience insights, analytics, and platform trends to optimise content performance and campaign effectiveness.
• Champion emerging formats, new platform behaviours, and innovative digital storytelling approaches.
• Push social thinking beyond “post-and-boost” into truly integrated, performance-led creativity.

Be a Strategic Partner

• Act as the social expert across internal and external stakeholder teams.
• Elevate creative quality and strategic thinking across campaigns and content production.
• Support a collaborative, fast-moving environment where ideas, experimentation, and agility thrive.
• Balance long-term brand building with reactive opportunities and live cultural moments.

You:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in social strategy, digital marketing, creative strategy, communications planning, or integrated campaigns.
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, creator ecosystems, and emerging digital culture.
• Proven experience building social-first campaigns that drive engagement, talkability, and audience relevance.
• Strong grasp of paid social, content distribution, and performance optimisation.
• A strategic thinker with strong creative instincts and a natural understanding of internet culture.
• Comfortable translating insights, behaviours, and trends into compelling campaign ideas.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams, agencies, creators, and media partners.
• Energised by fast-moving environments where culture, priorities, and ideas evolve quickly.
• Brings a collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves approach with the agility to navigate both strategy and execution seamlessly.
• Experience using AI-powered creative or workflow tools is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
