Marketing Manager / Freelancer

Butopêa, a Hungarian furniture startup brand, connects directly furniture and home decoration manufactures to end customers, cutting the middle men and therefore the price without sacrificing the quality. In combination to a true shopping experience, with a world-class support and fast delivery, we strive to make our customers happy.

A bit more than 6 years ago we created a spinoff from our successful mother company, Vega-Impex Kft., one of the largest importer for toys and furniture in Hungary for over 25 years.

You would work together with a truly international team speaking German, French, English, Russian among other languages. We have a strong dedication to our vision, having fun at work and enjoy hanging around together.

We are looking for an extraordinary and very creative Marketing Lead who is passionate about leveraging the latest technologies (like ChatGPT, AI, and other modern marketing tools) to manage our marketing communication across different channels.

Your mission:

• Create engaging campaigns that spread Butopêa´s brand values among different organic channels (newsletters, facebook, instagram, pinterest..)
• Plan, organize and execute big marketing promotions ( f.e. Radio, TV advertisement, contests, referral programs)
• Organize campaigns with various influencers (blogger, vloggers, interior designers, photographers) to promote our brand
• Optimize proactively the marketing campaigns through better text or images, taking into account the ROI
• Analyze campaign performances in order to create best practices and improve the future ones
• Create together with the Front-end designer cutting-edge Landing pages to improve conversion rates on our SEM campaigns
• Continuously explore and implement new technologies (AI, automation, analytics, etc.) to keep our marketing at the forefront of innovation
• Test growth hacking strategies to increase the organic reach of Butopêa

Your profile for the beginning

• At least 5 years of experience in Online Marketing
• Organized and able to lead projects from conception to execution
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable with figures, Excel, Google Analytics
• Not afraid of responsibility or decision-making
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Belief in our business model and products
• Demonstrated experience with new technologies such as ChatGPT, AI tools, or other modern marketing technologies (required)
• Creative, with a passion for interior design
• (Bonus) Some knowledge of CSS and HTML

The job would be based at Budapest on the Buda side at Nyúl utca next to Széll Kálmán tér, with some occasional trips to our Warehouse in Göd.
