Please be aware that to qualify for our Internship Placement, students must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines) and returning to their studies after the 12 month placement concludes.
Purpose of the Internship:
The Global Internship Programme is an exciting opportunity to get first-hand experience in a world-class marketing organisation.

Note: This role may involve domestic and international travel and the occasional need to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends.

Key Results Area
Provide general office administration support and reception cover;
Answering incoming calls.
Handling of office supplies and branded materials, maintaining office equipment, and organising brochure orders for trade.
Assist Digital Marketing colleagues with the scheduling and managing of daily social media marketing activities across all Tourism Ireland Spanish-owned channels via Hootsuite.
Posting of content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube and LinkedIn accounts.
Social media duties involve analysing data using dashboards to ensure consumer engagement is maintained at a high level in line with our KPIs.
Support the Publicity Executive in the implementation of an integrated PR communications plan by:
Support with uploading regular content to our Media Room website.
Support with media requests for information.
Support with organising media visits for local bloggers/journalists/influencers.
Support with recording of clippings for KPI reporting.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Assistant on email marketing activities for both consumer and trade databases.
Support the Spanish team to support content development for consumer, PR and trade channels maximising use of digital platforms, including Canva.
Assist the team with the coordination of the Marketing Opportunities Spain programme on the industry opportunities website; work, as part of the team, with industry partners to facilitate opportunities on our social media channels and prepare follow-up reports.
Ensure adherence to the company’s GDPR compliance policies and procedures in respect of your area of work.
Represent Tourism Ireland at various industry, press and corporate events. Such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require.
The Person
The successful Intern will possess the following skills, experience and competencies.
Essential
Minimum B2 in oral and written Spanish, is required.
Fluent English, both oral and written, is required.
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines will be considered).
Must be returning to complete studies after the completion of the placement.
The legal right to live and work in Spain for the full duration of the programme.
Proficient in MS Office.
