About SiGMA Group
Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Malta, SiGMA Group is a global leader across iGaming, emerging technologies, affiliate marketing, events, and media.
With over 300 professionals across Malta, Cyprus, Serbia, São Paulo, and Manila, we deliver large-scale international events that bring together industry leaders from around the world.
Our operations are global, fast-moving, and built on strong execution, collaboration, and consistently high standards.
We are seeking a versatile Marketing Executive to support our full spectrum of marketing activities, including social media, email marketing, and day-to-day marketing operations, with a strong focus on media-driven channels such as YouTube and Spotify. This role involves coordinating content across platforms, executing email campaigns, and providing hands on support to the wider marketing team to ensure all activity is engaging, consistent, and aligned with brand goals. The ideal candidate will track and interpret analytics across channels, contribute strategic insights, and play an active role in strengthening our overall marketing performance.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
Plan, schedule, and publish content across all active social channels (including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and YouTube), maintaining a consistent posting cadence and brand voice. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and on-brand manner, and identify opportunities for organic growth, audience-building, and meaningful conversation.
Content Coordination
Collaborate closely with the media production team to plan and organise upcoming content, ensuring all materials are prepared for publication and maintaining a smooth workflow from creation to final upload. Maintain a centralised content calendar that aligns social, video, podcast, and email activity.
Content Optimisation
Optimise published videos and posts by adjusting metadata, descriptions, tags, captions, hashtags, and overall presentation to maximise reach and engagement. Apply platform-specific best practices for visibility and make data-driven tweaks based on performance and evolving trends.
Thumbnail and Creative Collaboration
Work with the design team to create compelling, brand-aligned thumbnails, social graphics, and email visuals that capture attention, enhance click-through rates, and are continuously refined for optimal visual impact.
Short Clip Creation
Produce and adapt high-quality snippets or short clips that promote full-length videos and podcast episodes, tailoring formats to each platform (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.) to attract new audiences and drive traffic effectively.
Email Marketing
Plan, build, and deploy email campaigns including newsletters, promotional sends, product updates, and automated nurture sequences. Manage subscriber lists, segmentation, and basic personalisation to ensure relevant messaging for each audience. Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and send times, and monitor deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to continuously improve performance.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
Monitor and interpret analytics across social, video, podcast, and email channels to assess content performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver clear insights and recommendations. Prepare regular performance reports for the wider team, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable next steps.
Platform Trends and Updates
Stay up to date with the latest trends, features, and algorithm changes on YouTube, Spotify, social networks, and email marketing platforms, ensuring content and campaign strategies are aligned with current best practices and audience behaviour.
Marketing Operations Support
Provide general support to the marketing department by assisting with campaign coordination, asset organisation, vendor communication, event preparation, and the day-to-day running of marketing initiatives. Help maintain documentation, brand guidelines, and shared resources so the team can operate efficiently. Support paid media activity where needed, including basic ad setup, asset preparation, and performance tracking.
Creative Contribution
Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns, brand storytelling, and promotional activations, while also performing any additional marketing tasks as needed to support overall departmental goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
1 to 3 years of experience in marketing, social media, email marketing, or content management roles.
Solid understanding of social media platforms, email marketing principles, and digital marketing trends, with the ability to apply strategies that drive audience engagement and conversion.
Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar) is preferred.
Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (such as Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social) is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences.
Creative mindset paired with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and deliver projects on tight deadlines.
Comfortable working with data and reporting tools to draw meaningful insights from campaign performance.
Experience managing content on YouTube and Spotify is a plus.
Basic working knowledge of design tools (such as Canva or Adobe Express) and short-form video editing apps is an advantage.
