About the role
We supply technical products and services to industrial customers, and our exhibitions, website, and customer communications play an important role in how we grow and support our customers.
We’re looking for a Marketing & Events Coordinator to help turn marketing plans into reality. This is a practical, supportive role focused on coordination, organisation, and basic digital marketing tasks, working closely with the Marketing Manager.
The role is well suited to:
someone early in their marketing career
a recent graduate looking for hands-on experience
or someone returning to work after a career break who wants school-hours or part-time flexibility
No prior industry knowledge is required (however previous technical exposure is desirable); we’re looking for strong transferable skills such as organisation, communication, and attention to detail, with support provided to build confidence in our systems and processes.

Help maintain simple tracking for website traffic, enquiries, and email engagement.
Content & admin support

Gather images and background information from internal teams.
Keep marketing files and assets organised and easy to find.
Opportunity to grow
This role offers hands-on exposure to marketing in a technical, B2B environment. For the right person, there is the opportunity to gradually build marketing skills over time, particularly in areas such as website content, digital tools, and campaign support. Training and guidance will be provided, and responsibilities can grow as confidence and experience develop.

Comfortable following up with people and keeping track of information and deadlines.
Clear written communication and confidence editing simple text.
Basic IT skills (e.g. email, spreadsheets, documents, shared folders).
Willingness to learn new tools and systems (training provided).
Able to work independently once priorities are agreed.
Desirable (but not required)
Experience in coordination, administration, marketing, or events.
Experience using a website CMS, email tools, social media for business.

Hours, contract & flexibility
Hours: Around 3 days per week (18–22.5 hours). We are open to school-hours or a flexible working pattern, to be agreed.
Contract: Permanent, with six-month probationary period.
Salary: Pro-rated from £25,000–£28,000 FTE, depending on experience.
