About the Role
DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking experienced Marketing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a next-generation Generative AI and advanced analytics initiative. In this role, you will apply your real-world marketing expertise to help train, evaluate, and fine-tune AI models that support marketing strategy, execution, and decision-making.
You will serve as a critical bridge between marketing strategy and AI systems, ensuring that models accurately understand marketing concepts, workflows, performance metrics, and business objectives. This role is well suited for senior marketing professionals who have hands-on experience across the marketing funnel and a strong interest in leveraging AI to improve marketing intelligence and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Domain Training & Data Annotation
• Provide subject matter expertise during AI model training to ensure accurate understanding of marketing terminology, logic, and workflows.
• Curate, label, and validate high-quality marketing datasets, including ad copy, campaign briefs, brand assets, KPIs, and customer segmentation data.
• Design realistic scenarios and prompts representing diverse marketing contexts (e.g., brand launches, A/B testing, multichannel campaigns, crisis communications).
Workflow Definition & Process Mapping
• Translate end-to-end marketing workflows (campaign planning → execution → measurement → optimization) into structured training and evaluation data.
• Define core marketing workflows such as:
• Campaign planning and management
• Customer segmentation and journey mapping
• Attribution modeling and media mix optimization
• Product positioning and go-to-market strategy
• Brand management and communications
• Identify decision points, metrics, and dependencies that AI systems must recognize within marketing operations.
• Collaborate with ML and engineering teams to represent workflows in AI-friendly formats (e.g., structured datasets, taxonomies, knowledge graphs).
Model Evaluation & Capability Assessment
• Develop realistic test cases and evaluation criteria to assess AI performance across marketing tasks such as:
• Creative ideation and content generation
• Market and competitive analysis
• Customer segmentation and targeting
• Message optimization and tone consistency
• Marketing analytics and performance insights
• Review AI-generated outputs for relevance, creativity, accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance.
• Provide structured feedback and improvement recommendations to enhance model reasoning, output quality, and real-world applicability.
Strategic Collaboration & Innovation
• Partner with product and engineering teams to define AI-driven marketing use cases, including campaign recommendations, content personalization, audience insights, and performance prediction.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve marketing efficiency, scalability, and decision-making.
• Stay current with evolving marketing technologies, data platforms, and generative AI tools to inform ongoing model enhancement.
