Job Summary:
The Marketing Associate supports the execution of ODG’s marketing and communications efforts across a variety of channels and touchpoints. This role assists in delivering high-quality, consistent messaging that aligns with ODG’s brand and supports overall business goals. Responsibilities are carried out by collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand project needs, timelines, and priorities, while helping maintain organized workflows to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
The Marketing Associate plays a key role in supporting internal and external communications, content creation, social media, brand consistency, event coordination, and branded materials (e.g., customer gifts, apparel, and uniforms). This position contributes to maintaining ODG’s Best-In-Class presentation through attention to detail, strong organization, and a proactive approach to supporting the team.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Support internal teams by collaborating with operational management to understand project needs, timelines, and goals, and assist in recommending marketing and communication solutions
Create and publish content across various channels, including social media, email, website, and marketing materials, ensuring consistency with brand standards on a as needed basis
Maintain and update brand assets (logos, templates, website content, etc.) to ensure a consistent and professional presentation
Assist in the design and production of marketing materials, coordinating with vendors as needed to ensure quality and timely delivery
Help manage relationships with external partners, such as trade organizations and community groups, as needed
Support the planning and coordination of events, including employee events, career fairs, trade shows, and other company initiatives (Holiday Fest, All Hands, Luncheons, Anniversaries, etc.)
Assist with sourcing, ordering, and distributing branded materials such as customer gifts, apparel, and uniforms
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
1–3 years of marketing experience or relevant internships/experience in digital marketing, content creation, branding, or campaign support (B2B experience a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging content across multiple platforms
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail with a focus on brand consistency and quality
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with field teams, leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Customer service mindset with responsiveness to internal and external needs
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with social media management and content creation
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Familiarity with website updates/content management systems
Experience with marketing, or survey tools (e.g., constant contact, survey platforms)
Basic video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere)
Experience with project management or marketing workflow tools

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to the following:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Able to walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, squat and climb
Able to travel to jobsites, meetings, and other destinations as needed
Able to see, talk and hear in person, via phone and/or through online/video
Able to use hands and fingers in a manner that allows for use of a keyboard and phone.
Able to lift & carry items up to 15 lbs
