Marketing and operations assistant

Location: Remote Company: C2 Essentials Overview: C2 Essentials is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Manager Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Marketing Manager and the broader marketing team. This role is perfect for a proactive professional with strong communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth execution of marketing initiatives, managing schedules, and coordinating tasks across multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Marketing Manager in planning, organizing, and executing marketing campaigns. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain accurate documentation. Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and handle email correspondence. Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including social media posts and email campaigns. Track project timelines and ensure deliverables are met on schedule. Maintain organized digital files and marketing asset libraries. Conduct basic research on market trends and competitor activities. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client meetings. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1–3 years of experience in administrative or marketing support roles. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). Strong organizational and time management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing tools.
Preferred:
Experience with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana). Knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact). Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
