Join Buddle Findlay, a leading corporate law firm, and play a key role in growing our brand and business development initiatives at both a regional and national level.
We are looking for a Marketing Adviser to join our dynamic national team, based in Auckland. This is an exceptional opportunity to support marketing operations, design, and business development activities that communicate our legal capabilities and strengthen our position in the market.
It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety across the full range of marketing and business development activities – from day-to-day support to project-based work. You'll work closely with Olwin Kleve (Director, Marketing), and collaborate with teams across the firm, coordinating and delivering engaging marketing collateral, managing digital channels (including our website and social media), and supporting campaigns using HubSpot.
Your creativity will shine as you produce proposals, reports, infographics, and more – always ensuring materials align with our brand and help tell our story in a compelling way.
What you will be doing
Working with internal legal teams to prepare high‑quality proposal responses.
Developing a variety of marketing communication campaigns and business as usual activities, including flyers, case studies, web copy, press releases, and presentations.
Managing and updating the company website and social media channels.
Assisting with external communications.
Coordinating client events and sponsorship management.
Creating, maintaining, and implementing campaigns in HubSpot (including email newsletters, invitations, website landing pages, forms, workflows, and monitoring/reporting on analytics).
Supporting special projects and maintaining marketing resources and guides.
What we’re looking for:
This role is suited to a marketing all‑rounder with experience in B2B marketing. To be successful, you will ideally have:
2-3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a professional services or corporate environment
An innovative and strategic mindset
Proven marketing and proposal management experience, with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
Experience developing marketing campaigns and related activities
Experience using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Experience with marketing automation platforms and content management systems (eg HubSpot and Umbraco)
Excellent communication skills (writing, editing, and content development)
Strong project management, organisation, and attention to detail
A collaborative approach and enjoyment of working with others across a range of levels
Experience in a law firm or professional services environment (preferred).
