Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
As Market Leader BeLux, you will lead a multilingual operations team responsible for first-line handling of new business, policy servicing, and partner/client-related queries for the Belgian and Luxembourgish markets.
You ensure operational consistency, service quality, and regulatory compliance, while also contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency and service excellence. You will maintain visibility with key distribution partners and act when needed to support or coordinate resolution of more complex requests.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
Team Leadership
Guide and coach the team in their daily activities across new business intake, policy servicing, and query handling,
Foster a consistent and collaborative service approach across all team members,
Promote ownership, learning, and accountability within the team.
Operational Management & Controls
Ensure timely, compliant, and accurate execution of first-line operations,
Monitor quality, data integrity, and AML checks in accordance with internal policies,
Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive queries.
Partner Engagement (Operational)
Support operational alignment with key distribution partners,
Represent the team in selected partner interactions, especially in case of escalations or process clarification needs,
Contribute to department-wide efforts to enhance partner servicing standards.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
Identify opportunities for process optimisation and service improvements,
Contribute actively to departmental projects and initiatives; coordinate implementation steps where applicable,
Share ideas to improve tools, communication flows, or team efficiency.
Reporting & Analysis
Produce and analyse reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service outcomes,
Use insights to inform improvements and support decision-making at team and departmental level.
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Market Leader - BeLux?
At least 10 years of experience in life insurance or financial services operations,
A people manager with a proven track record of managing and/or coaching high performing teams,
Strong track record in leading or coaching teams in a regulated environment,
Sound understanding of first-line operational processes and AML controls,
A mature person capable of working independently and able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and problem solving capabilities,
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
Entrepreneurial spirit that possesses the ability to achieve results through working in an agile, logical and systematic manner,
Flexible and adaptable, enjoying challenging situations in a changing environment,
Fluent in Dutch and French, with strong command of English (corporate language),
Skilled in stakeholder communication, both internal and external,
Analytical, pragmatic, and improvement-minded.
