SUMMARY
The Market Launch Manager is the primary leader responsible for the successful launch and growth of a new fiber internet market in Franklin, Tennessee. This role owns all aspects of market penetration, residential sales performance, and localized marketing execution. The manager leads a dedicated Sales & Marketing Pod, creating and executing one unified go-to-market strategy, one performance scorecard, and one weekly operating rhythm to drive customer acquisition and neighborhood-by-neighborhood growth. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on field execution, focusing on increasing awareness, generating leads, building community trust, and converting homes passed into active customers. The role also helps identify small business (SMB) and enterprise sales opportunities and routes qualified leads to B2B Account Executives. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who can build a local market plan, lead people effectively, create community momentum, develop HOA and neighborhood relationships, and execute with urgency and accountability.
POSITION SCHEDULE AND ONSITE REQUIREMENTS
This is a direct-hire, full-time, on-site position located at Berry Farms Office Location – Franklin, TN
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
Market Ownership & Performance
Serve as the clear owner of all residential sales and localized marketing results for the Franklin market, while also supporting identification of SMB business development opportunities in the market.
Develop and execute an integrated market launch plan designed to maximize penetration, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
Lead the market with one plan, one scorecard, and one weekly operating rhythm across sales and marketing activities.
Establish neighborhood-level priorities and sequencing to drive pre-sales during the construction phase and ensure the market is won neighborhood by neighborhood.
Monitor performance against goals including residential leads, SMB lead referrals, orders, installations, conversion rates, penetration, event performance, and return on marketing spend.
Use data and field insights to quickly adjust tactics, messaging, and resource deployment to improve results.
Identify and communicate emerging SMB or Enterprise lead opportunities, market insights, and local business trends to the B2B sales team to support business development in Franklin.
Leadership & Team Management
Hire, supervise and coordinate a self-contained Sales & Marketing Pod dedicated to the Franklin market.
Provide leadership, coaching, direction, and accountability to team members supporting local sales and marketing execution.
Create a high-performance culture centered on urgency, ownership, teamwork, local market knowledge, and measurable results.
Lead regular operating reviews to evaluate progress, remove obstacles, and drive execution against market goals.
Ensure strong alignment and communication between sales, marketing, construction, operations, customer experience, and other internal partners.
Localized Sales & Market Penetration
Lead market penetration efforts with a neighborhood-by-neighborhood strategy focused on maximizing take rate.
Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners’ associations, neighborhood leaders, property stakeholders, local business groups, and other community influencers.
Identify, recruit, and cultivate neighborhood ambassadors who can help drive referrals, credibility, and local adoption.
Support local sales activity by identifying priority neighborhoods, improving field execution, and strengthening neighborhood conversion strategies.
Partner closely with team members and cross functional teams to ensure messaging, offers, canvassing, events, and follow-up efforts are coordinated and effective across both residential and business opportunities.
Coordinate sales activities for the Franklin market such as door knocking and outbound calling with the two existing residential sales supervisors.
Identify small and medium business prospects encountered through neighborhood activity, local events, community forums, and relationship-building efforts, and hand off qualified leads to the appropriate B2B Account Executive for follow-up.
Maintain a strong feedback loop with B2B Account Executives regarding referred leads, market intelligence, and business development opportunities to improve coordination and results.
Local Marketing Execution
Develop and execute localized marketing tactics that generate interest, build trust, and drive qualified leads that convert to sales.
Implement high-visibility, community-based marketing with a strong local presence throughout Franklin.
Execute neighborhood-specific campaigns that include localized messaging, proof-building, testimonial development, direct community engagement, and event activation.
Oversee marketing programs such as retargeting campaigns, neighborhood events, pop-ups, local sponsorships, signage, direct mail, email marketing, ambassador programs, and community outreach.
Ensure marketing efforts are sequenced to support sales readiness, construction timing, and launch milestones.
Build proof and momentum through customer testimonials, visible neighborhood adoption, social proof, and local advocacy.
Community Engagement & Brand Building
Represent the company in the Franklin community with professionalism, energy, and a strong local-market mindset across both residential and small business audiences.
Build brand awareness and credibility through local partnerships, grassroots efforts, community involvement, and relationships with local business organizations.
Identify opportunities to increase visibility and strengthen trust in the market through events, relationships, local storytelling, and business community connections.
Help establish the company as the preferred local fiber internet provider in Franklin.
Serve as a visible connector into the local business community by identifying business owners and decision-makers who may benefit from United’s services and ensuring those opportunities are routed promptly to the B2B sales team.
WHAT YOU BRING
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, market development, or local growth leadership roles.
2+ years of experience leading or supervising people, projects, or cross-functional teams.
Experience in telecommunications, broadband, fiber internet, utilities, home services, or other subscription-based/local service industries preferred.
Proven success in driving local market growth, customer acquisition, or territory penetration.
Strong understanding of field sales, community-based marketing, and localized lead generation tactics.
Experience building relationships with HOAs, community organizations, local influencers, or neighborhood groups is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to create structure, scorecards, and operating rhythms that drive accountability and results.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced launch environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
