We are looking for driven, enthusiastic, and passionate marketing professional to join our Summits division as a Market Intelligence Analyst. In this role your will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of brands across a range of sectors. Your will understand each brand at a deeper level, assessing the target audience and defining the ideal buyer personas and detailed competitor analysis. Working collaboratively with our sales, marketing, research and content management teams you will look to define the addressable market for each brand and put in place a data strategy to strengthen existing data and acquire new data. In addition, you will execute specific target marketing outreach to these audiences to validate the data and generate inbound leads across a range of channels including email and social media.

This is an in-person role located in our Cape Town office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a fundamental understanding of each brand in your portfolio, which will include events across a range of industries and territories including APAC, EMEA and North America.

• Define the ideal buyer personas for each brand and assess current data strengths and weaknesses to support our Summits.

• Develop strategies to enhance the quality and quantity of the data we own to support each brand in your portfolio and develop metrics to communicate data quality to senior stakeholders.

• Identify the technologies we need as a business to support data acquisition and quality improvements across your brands, testing platforms, developing business processes and making recommendations to senior management

• Plan, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns to test data quality and generate inbound lead generation for sales using a variety of channels.

• Build strong relationships with sales teams and other stakeholders. Assess key outcomes from sales interaction to inform future research and refinement of the ideal buyer personas for each brand.

• Manage all activity within our core CRM (HubSpot) and using the tools to develop accurate reporting.

• Proactively contribute to the overall effectiveness of Summits marketing division.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree or diploma in any discipline, preferably in Marketing.

• You will have demonstrable experience in lead generation, excellent research abilities or market research experience.

• Practical marketing experience will be considered an advantage (1-2 years).

• Excellent knowledge of the English language (verbal and written).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to adapt to a performance-driven culture.

• Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with HubSpot or Salesforce is a distinct advantage.
